Born to a family of Spanish theater actors and performers, director Imanol Ruiz de Lara was destined to make beautiful art.
Renowned for his powerful imagery and unique aesthetic, Imanol’s work has catapulted him to global recognition for his comedic storytelling and fashion campaigns with Vogue, Adolfo Dominguez and Yves Saint-Laurent.
With a background in film and TV editing, Imanol weaves cinematography and fashion photography with rhythmic synthesis to direct campaigns for clients all over the world. His commercial work includes LG, McDonalds, Aegean Airlines, KFC, and Uber. His latest work includes the short film “17 Minutos con Nora,” with more than 100 official selections at film festivals around the world winning more than 30 awards.
